G26 slide
Easy to assemble and ran like a champ. Looking forward to put more rounds through it and adding it to my carry rotation.

G26 complete slide - UPDATED
MDX contacted me shortly after I left the previous review. They shipped me a new slide and actually assembled it before shipping to make sure it functioned properly without requiring that I return the defective slide first (kudos to MDX!). The new slide functions perfectly and I am very happy with the purchase. Giving 4 stars simply for the fact that I had to return the first one, other than that it would have been 5. Thanks again to the folks at MDX for making the return/replacement process so easy.

Complete upper slide for subcompact P80 build
I looked far and wide for an upper slide for my build.., I have used the standard P80 slides in the past but was looking for something similar but yet not obviously a P80 slide… this G26 V2 slide still had the basic overall look but was visually the right slide for me… I’m not into all the window cuts and all that stuff so this was perfect t and was exactly what the doctor ordered…

G26 slide with RMR cut
Had trouble getting the firing pin to Greek traverse the firing pin hole but it seems to have worn in after about 50 rounds. The slide cover plate was extremely hard to install, requiring more pressure than normal. I even tried another factory slide cover and experienced the same thing. Perhaps the thickness of the FDE coating in the area is the culprit? We’ll see when I eventually take the slide apart in about 1500 rds. On the plus side, the color is uniform and the RMR cutout is nice and crisp. No apparent flaws in the slide that I can see. I really like the flush fit barrel. Have to accuracy tested it yet but if it works as well as a stock 26 barrel I’m happy.

Fit and finish was on par for the price The barrel is where this thing shines Very impressed with the accuracy from this barrel and no feed issues or failures as of 200 rds
